Ken grew up near Topeka, Indiana on a dairy farm. He heard the call to ministry when he was twenty years old during Voluntary Service in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ken graduated from Grace College; has training in Clinical Pastoral Education from Memorial Hospital, South Bend; and has Intentional Interim Training. He has been in ministry for 49 years, serving in three intentional interims and six permanent charges. Ken is married to Jan and they have two married daughters and four grandchildren. Hope, their oldest daughter, is married to Tim Martin. They have two daughters: Sidney and Ave. Charity, their youngest daughter, is married to Joshua Hayashi. They have a son, Everett, and a daughter Aleathea. Ken enjoys his family, daughters and their families, reading, writing, traveling, lawn work, and listening to the oldies music of the 60s and 70s. Ken started on staff at Brenneman in September 2020 as Pastoral Care Pastor, and transitioned to an interim role in September 2021.
